Since Stories are sometimes more important than any other kind of nourishment, we have to hold Hollywood accountable for the 'bad food' they routinely deliver to us.  Unfortunately, our modern corporate media often refuses to acknowledge their responsibility for the stories they tell us and we are left with bad stories that often don’t even entertain us, let alone teach us anything.

And then there are the really great stories that some of our filmmakers create.  These stories nurture our souls.  There are some good movies out there, and as often as I can, I'll write up reviews of the movies that I believe can 'move' us in a new direction, or at least acknowledge what we already feel to be true.
